About Your Yoga Instructor
Meet Sophie
Of Your Yoga Where Strength and Serenity Intertwine
A fully qualified Yoga Teacher with 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training- RYT500 at a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School. I offer clients a wide range of tools to enhance their lives and improve wellness. I have experience in breath-work, Hatha flow, yin and relaxation techniques, including yoga-nidra.
I have found yoga to be transformational in my own life, and cherish the opportunity to help others to discover the healing powers of yoga. Teaching tools and practices allowing people to discover more peace, calm and personal growth in their lives. Of course, along with these benefits they also become stronger, more flexible, release tension, improve energy flow and more connected to their bodies.
Yoga encourages you to move inward and out of the mind. Taking care of every part of yourself, cleansing and healing, coming back to who you’ve always been, the genuine authentic you. To truly finding peace within your own skin.
In creating moments of stillness, the regular practice of yoga invites us to listen beyond our habitual mind chatter (ego) and assists to bring us closer to our true nature.
What is the definition of Yoga?
It is the method and practice that facilitate connection or union;
- Connection to the body - through Asana (poses)
- Connection to the breath - with Pranayama (breath work)
- Connection to the mind/thoughts/emotion - Mindfulness
- Connection to awareness/spirit - with Meditation (true relaxation/ stillness)
Wherever you are, I’m looking forward to becoming a part of Your Yoga journey.
